CPC Calculator

CPC (cost per click) is what you pay for each click on your ad. This calculator works in every direction: compute CPC from spend and clicks, project spend from CPC and click targets, or estimate how many clicks a budget buys.

CPCFill in the two known values to solve for the third.

How it works

CPC = total cost ÷ clicks. Spend $400 for 320 clicks and your CPC is $1.25. Select the variable you want to solve, fill in the other two, done.

CPC only matters relative to what a click is worth. If your landing page converts at 2% and a customer is worth $300 in margin, a click is worth up to $6 at break-even — that context turns 'is $2 CPC expensive?' into simple arithmetic.

FAQ

One below your maximum profitable CPC, which equals landing page conversion rate × customer value. A $4 CPC is cheap if 5% of clicks become $500 customers, and ruinous if 0.5% become $80 customers. Calculate your own ceiling before comparing benchmarks.
